"Sadako's Kimono" - From the CityLife Collection
"Sadako's Kimono" is a stunning signed Fine Art Giclee Print on archival heavy weight paper from the original acrylic and gold leaf painting on wood, available in A4 or A3 sizes. This beautiful piece would make a stunning addition to any room.
My Asian heritage has always given me a fascination with Far Eastern art and it's culture, this led to my collection of kimono paintings. This piece was created for an exhibition influenced by the story "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" the story of a little girl affected by the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima. All of the pieces in this collection featured the Paper Crane which is a symbol of longevity, peace and good luck.
All Elizabeth Grant Art prints have been taken from original artworks and printed on textured Conservation Grade paper which means the colour will not fade. As the artist I can personally vouch that the quality of these prints makes them indistinctive from the original artworks.
